Karlis is an actor from Latvia, a boy from Jurmala. He grew up next to the Baltic sea coast with wind in his hair and sand in his pants.

When Karlis is not working on a film set, he works in Valmieras theatre. He has played characters from Latvian, Russian and American playwrights such as Don Nigro, Dostoyevsky, Blaumanis and others.
Every year he takes on a challenge and works with students from the Latvian national film school.
